It was a glorious day spiced with history, tradition and re-union for sons and daughters of Adegbile, one of the ancient compounds in Ede North Local Government Area of Ede in Osun State, as they gathered to celebrate the maiden ‘Adegbile Day” Held at Idi-Ose, Isale Bode area of the town.
In his admonition to the gathering, Chairman of the occasion, who is also chairman Osun State primary healthcare development Board, Honourable Tajudeen Adisa, urged the indigenes of Adegbile compound, young and old to uphold the strong family tie that has held them together over the years.

Honourable Adisa however enjoined the compound leaders to join hand in investing more in the education of their children to produce more quality personalities like one of the two Deputy inspectors General of police produced the state, DIG Adedayo Adeoye, Rtd, among other Adegbile’s sons and daughters who have been contributing immensely to the development of the compound, Ede town and Osun State in general.
Earlier, the compound Head (Baálé)of Adegbile, Elder Emmanuel Aderibigbe who could not hide his joy and delight on the event put together by his Subjects, promised to keep leading them towards achieving more development and family stability.

Chairman of the Organising committee of the maiden “Adegbile Day’’ Pastor Taiwo Aderigbigbe, while thanking the delegation from the Timi of Ede land Oba Munirudeen Lawal lead by the Agbaakin of Ede land , High Chief Adewale Salawu and other guests, promised judicious and transparency on the use of whatever amount raised for the various planned projects

Highlight of the event, include birthday celebration for the Chief launcher, the Babasanya of Edeland, High Chief Tunji Lawal, cultural performance by the troupe from Alafin ilu, ede,lead by prince Adewale Laoye , reading of Adegbile compound historical background and fund raising for the compound developmental projects.
