The Ibadan Country Club today donated essential items to Ibadan Home for the Motherless Babies, Yemetu, Ibadan, to mark this year’s Christmas.

Speaking at the event, President, of Ibadan Country Club, Dr Olaoluwa Adegoke, said the donation was the club giving back to the society and also aimed at making the lives of the children better.
Dr Adegoke further disclosed that the club has mapped out series of projects to positively impact the lives of the needy in the society and also promised to re-equip the solar panel of Ibadan Home for the motherless babies.

Receiving the items, Assistant Matron, Ibadan Home for the motherless babies, Mrs Aderinola Oke appreciated the club for their kind gesture toward ensuring a brighter future for the children and charged the government to toll in that path.

Members of the club present were Vice President, Rotaract Mogaji Adetunji, General Secretary, Mr Soba Adebiyi, Public Relations Officers, Barrister Thomas Adetunji, and Ex-officio Mr. Muyiwa Adebiyi.
Items donated to the motherless babies’ home included toothpaste, Baby wipes, two ceiling fans, five crates of Egg, five bundle of diapers, a Rechargeable lamp, two germicides, babies’ food, and cash of 50,000 naira.
