The Minister for Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has felicitated with the the Secretary, Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Oyo State Council, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, on his 71st birthday.
He described Abatan’s 71st birthday as remarkable milestone, saying the celebration marked a significant achievement, reflecting Abatan’s resilience, dedication, and contributions to the senior citizens welfare in Oyo State, Southwest,Nigeria and Africa.
A statement by the Minister,stated that Abatan’s leadership and commitment to the welfare of pensioners in Oyo State have earned him admiration and respect.
According to him, as a vibration labour union Administrator, the celebrant has worked tirelessly to ensure the rights and benefits of pensioners are protected, adding that his birthday celebration is an opportunity for well-wishers to appreciate his selfless service.
He said, “Comr. Abatan’s 71st birthday is a testament to his enduring legacy, and it’s a moment to reflect on his accomplishments. His dedication to public service has made a lasting difference in his community.”
The Minister however wished the celebrant, who is also the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pensioners’ FM, good health, happiness, and many more years of fruitful service to mankind.
“His birthday celebration serves as a reminder of the importance of leadership and service to others. Abatan’s life and work continue to inspire many, and his birthday is an occasion for joy and celebration.
