The House of Representatives member representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Works, Hon. Akin Alabi, has kick-started a movement in the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency in support of the re-election of President Tinubu in the 2027 general elections. The initiative is tagged Friends of Akin Alabi for Tinubu 2027.
The group aims to mobilise twenty thousand eligible voters from Egbeda/Ona Ara in support of President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
While speaking at the event, Hon. Akin Alabi stated that President Tinubu’s economic reform policies may be challenging at the moment but are necessary to secure the future of the country. He added that all presidential candidates in the 2023 general elections indicated during their campaigns that subsidy would be removed, and that Tinubu has taken a bold step towards improving the country’s economy through his ongoing economic transformation policies.
The Chairman, House Committee on Works, further explained that Friends of Akin Alabi for Tinubu 2027 is a collective of eligible voters who have voluntarily come together to promote and support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Hon. Alabi reiterated his commitment to championing support for Tinubu within the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency and working hand in hand with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and City Boy Movement to spread the message far and wide.
Hon. Oluwatosin Oluwadara, Chairman of the Friends of Akin Alabi for Tinubu 2027, while speaking to journalists, noted that the support group will serve as a platform to inform people about the President’s achievements and reasons to support his re-election.
The event was attended by All Progressives Congress leaders and stakeholders across the Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency.
