Amodu Describes Late Adeleke as Architect of Modern Osun

The caretaker Chairman of Ede North Local government, Honourable Taiwo Amodu says the people of Osun State would forever be grateful to the late first civilian Governor of the State, Otunba Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke for laying a solid foundation for rapid development of the state during his brief stint.

Honourable Amodu made this known in a message commemorating the 69th posthumous birthday to the late Ede born colourful popularly known as “SERUBAWON”.

The council helmsman added that the late political Icon was a man of honour, a philanthropist and one with an impeccable character who dedicated his lifetime to the service of humanity.

Honourable Amodu also recalled that the late political maestro left excellent legacies that will never die.

The grassroot politician also stressed that Senator Isiaka Adeleke can be described as a father of all who never discriminated against anyone and frequently treated people with fear .

“He is an open-minded leader who worked assiduously towards the development of Ede town in particular and Osun state in general.”

Honourable Amodu in the statement also prayed for the gentle soul of the brother to current Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke to continue resting in peace.

“May Almighty Allah forgive our leader Otunba Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke his shortcomings and a place in Aljanah Fridaoz.” – Honourable Amodu prayed.
