Three public affairs analysts have called for restructuring of the judiciary in Nigeria to enhance total independence of the third arm of government.
The Analysts, Barrister Foluso Olapo, Mr John Njoku and Mr Ayodeji Ajisope made this known while reacting to the appointment of Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria on Pensioners FM Current Affairs programme, Voice of Liberation.
According to them, the structural, systemic, infrastructural challenges and the menace of corruption hovering around the judicial sector were due to other arms interference.
Barrister Olapo, Mr Njoku and Mr Ajisope are optimistic that restructuring and Kekere-Ekun’s appointment would bring moral authority and energy on the administration of justice delivery sector.
They advised Justice Kekere-Ekun to retain the confidence of the masses in the judicial system of the country.
