Two Public Affairs Analysts have urged federal government and other stakeholder in the petroleum sector to be transparent about their dealings in respect to Port Harcourt and Dangote Refineries.

The analysts, Engr. Kemi Babawale and Comrade Ogundele Ayodele, made this know while featuring on Pensioners’ FM Current Affairs Programme, “The Searchlight.”

According to Engr. Babawale and Comrade Ayodele, Nigerians are still waiting for the operation of Port Harcourt refinery as promised by the presidency since last year.

They also urged NNPCL to sell crude oil to Dangote Refinery in naira and not in dollars as alleged by the Chairman of Dangote group, Aliko Dangote, noting that this would make petrol price cheaper for Nigerians.

Also speaking ahead of World Techers Day, tomorrow, Engr. Babawale and Comrade Ayodele, called on the government to improve the welfare of teachers and provide a conducive working environment for them.

They noted that education is the back bone of any nation that want to thrive in industriliasation and technology.
