Some Public Affairs Analysts have called on Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State to fashion out modalities that will boost the Internally Generated Revenue, IGR of the State.
They made this known while reacting to the state’s 2024 proposed budget of four hundred and thirty four point two billion naira on Pensioners FM current affairs programme, Voice of Liberation.
According to Honourable Femi Adebisi, Mr Wale Akintola and Mr Feyijimi Benjamin, Governor Makinde should prioritise situations of urgent public importance and not rely on taxes to drive the economy.
Honourable Adebisi, Mr Akintola and Mr Benjamin advised Governor Makinde to engage the services of Technocrats in the implementation of the 2024 budget.
