People have been urged to leave a good legacy worthy of emulation when they pass away.

A clergy, Reverend Paul Jenfa, said this in his sermon at the Christian Wake Keep and Night of Tribute for the late Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Oyo State Chapter, Hon. Isaac Omodewu.

Reverend Jenfa, while speaking on the topic, “What Will You be Remembered For”, called on people to serve as a mirror of hope and goodwill for people around them.

A member of the Omodewu’s family, Mr Abiodun Omodewu, who spoke on behalf of other members, said the late patriarch was a champion of equality who left legacies worthy of emulation.

Some friends and political associates also described late Omodewu as a man of honour who has helped in the development of families, communities and people around him.

The late Omodewu has been buried in his home town, Otu, in the Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Dignitaries present at the wake keep service were former APC Governorship candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin, Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Sharafadeen Alli, Special Adviser on Media to Chairman of Senate Committee on Environment, Mr Kunle Olatunji and other top APC functionaries.
