Baale Apena Praises Gov. Makinde For Enhancing Welfare Of Pensioners

The Baale of Apena and its Environs in Ido Local Government Area, Oyo State, Lateef Adegoke, has praised Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering dedication to enhancing the welfare of pensioners in the state.

In a statement, Baale Adegoke, who is also a former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Council, expressed his appreciation following the recent approval of 25,000 naira as the minimum pension for retirees in the state.

He emphasized that the pensioners’ demand, which had lingered unresolved for many years, was finally addressed under the administration of Governor Makinde.

Baale Adegoke also commended the state NUP executives, led by Chairman Comrade James Osuntade and Secretary Comrade Olusegun Abatan, for their relentless efforts in ensuring that pensioners receive their entitlements.
