The role of communities in the upbringing of a child has again been reemphasised.
A retired school principal, from Islamic High School, Orita-Bashorun, Ibadan, Oyo State capital, Alhaji Moshood Alaka made the emphasis in an interview with pensioners FM.
According to Alhaji Alaka, instilling discipline during upbringing is a collective effort of community members.
He said the characters exhibited by any child while growing up and in the future also reflect the community, he or she grew up in.
Alhaji Alaka, urged community members to help parents in the upbringing of their children and wards for the betterment of communities and the overall development of the country.
