A Public Affairs Analyst, Barrister Folusho Olapo, has called on the Nigeria Army to maintain its responsibility of protecting the nation against external security threats.
Mr Olapo stated this on Pensioners FM Current affairs programme” Trending”, while reacting to the killing of some military personnel at Okuama community in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to Mr Olapo, who is also a legal practitioner, maintaining law and order during communal clashes remains the responsibility of the Nigeria Police force.
Mr Olapo also condoled with the families of the slain soldiers.
