Dosu Condemns Ill-Treatment of Super Eagles in Libya

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Joseph Dosu, has berated the ill-treatment of the Super Eagles by Libyan Authorities.

Mr. Dosu made this known in an interview with Pensioners FM in Lagos.

The former Super Eagles goaltender who described the team’s ordeal as unfortunate noted that it should be treated as a matter of urgent importance.

While the Super Eagles recent experience in Libya has reignited concerns about player safety and fair treatment in African football, Mr. Dosu urged the Confederation of African football, CAF to take urgent steps against such antics.

The Super Eagles were left stranded in a Libyan airport for 20 hours ahead of their 2025 AFCON qualifying match against the country.
