A Political and Financial Analyst, Dr Raymond Adegboyega has identified rule of law as a panacea for good governance.

Speaking with Pensioners’ FM Correspondent, Dr Adegboyega who said the rule of law is an essential element in any democratic society, stressed that justice would not be effectively delivered when the supremacy of the law is not respected.

“Nobody is above the law, so the rule of law must be practised to give room for successive governance”.

Dr Adegboyega harped on the need to allow rule of law to prevail in the country to allow citizens reap the dividends of democracy.

Dr Adegboyega who also aired his views on the distribution of palliatives by the federal government described the act as inadequate and a short term means of cushioning the hardship on Nigerians.

“The distribution of palliatives has made the government see Nigerians as beggars which should not be so”.

Dr Adegboyega advised the government to rather establish a price control board and also flood the market with food items at affordable prices for the masses.
