Chief Executive Officer, Ultimate Total Life Concept Initiative Ibadan, Dr Adenike Victor-Tade, has expressed dissatisfaction towards the palliative method being used by the government to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal on Nigerians.
Dr Victor- Tade who is also known as mama empowerment, stated this in Ibadan, during a press briefing.
Dr Victor- Tade, noted that rather than distributing food stuff as palliatives, the government should have reduced school fees, electricity tariff, resuscitate the country’s refineries and empower small and medium scale businesses.
Dr Victor- Tade claimed that with the distribution of food as palliatives, a large percentage of Nigerians may not get their share, adding that the aim and efforts of the government could also be jeopardised.
