A renowned community leader in Oyo State, Mogaji Sunday Igbinsola, has urged government to intensify efforts in ensuring that people at the grassroots enjoy dividend of democracy.
Mogaji Igbinsola said this while featuring on Pensioners’ FM Current Affairs Programme, “The Searchlight.”
According to the Mogaji, good roads, adequate power supply and portable water supply are still lacking at the grassroots.
He noted that if the basic social amenities are made available at the grassroots, it will aid productivity, development and members of communities would be eager to pay tax.
Mogaji Igbinsola, however, noted that communities cannot achieve optimal development without the involvement and contributions of community leaders and members.
