The body of Retired Sergeant, Pa Akintunde Akinola Oderinde, has been committed to mother earth in Ibadan, Oyo State.
At the well-attended funeral service held at Pensioners event center, Agbarigo, Onireke Ibadan, family, friends, well-wishers, various security agencies were present to pay their last respect to late Pa Akintunde Akinola Oderinde, who was once a soldier.
A child of the deceased who spoke on behalf of other children, Reverend Israel Oderinde, described their father as a loving and God-fearing man.
Reverend Oderinde also noted that they were going to miss their father’s counsel and generosity.
Also speaking, the late deceased Uncle, Mr Gbenro Famuriyo, said Pa Akintunde Akinola Oderinde was a jovial, hardworking, and no-nonsense man, who was also referred to as “Babakonigba Baba Famoriyo”
Mr Famuriyo also used the opportunity to pray for the family of the deceased.
Pa Akintunde Akinola Oderinde was born on the 3rd of May, 1940 and died on the 1st of January this year.
