Family Holds Fidau for 130-Year Old Matriarch

Living to make lives of other people meaningful has been described as a worthy legacy in the sight of Allah.

Two Islamic clerics, the Chief Imam of Offa, Kwara State, Dr Muyideen Salman-Alhusein and Sheik AbdolAbdullah Yahyah said this at the 8 Day Fidau for the late Mama Aisha Alim held at Gbokiki compound, Ede, Osun State.

Dr Salman-Alhusein represented by Al Imaam Shamsdeen Salam – Al Hussein and Sheik Yahyah who enjoined Muslim faithful to use everything Almighty Allah endowed them with to benefit the less privileged and propagation of Islam as practised by Mama Aisha Alim during her life time, however encouraged the children of the deceased to maintain their matriarch’s legacies.

Two children of the deceased, Madam Awawu Tiamiyu and Mr. Jimoh Alim who described their later mother as an exemplary woman said the vacuum she left behind would be difficult to fill.

Aged 130, the late mama Aisha Alim, who was the wife of the late popular Islamic Scholar, Sheik Alim Eleha of Gbokiki compound in Ede North Local Government Area of Osun State, died on Friday, 23rd of February, 2024 and was buried same day.
