Good times await Ede North local government workers-Amodu

Workers in Ede North Local Government Area of Osun State have been assured of a better welfare and conducive atmosphere as they resumed work after the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The Caretaker Chairman of the Local Government, Honourable Taiwo Amodu, gave the hint while speaking at a Special Interdenominational prayer meeting organized by the members of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Ede North Local Government Chapter, held at the council’s Secretariat Oja-Timi, Ede.

According to a statement by the chairman’s Office Media Department, the prayer session which attracted the presence of the leadership of the local government, was organised to solicit divine guidance and blessing on the council and Ede town in general.

The Head of Local Government Administration, Ede North LGA, Engineer Musibaudeen Adenle who presided over the meeting appreciated the presence of the council chairman and praised him for prioritizing the welfare of the council staff while hailing him for his developmental plans to turn the council to a modern city.

Engineer Adenle further saluted the quality leadership style of Governor Ademola Adeleke, whom he said has been keeping his electioneering promises in promoting the social well-being of the workers and citizens of the state.

Engineer Adenle however admonished the workers to be more diligent, patriotic and loyal in their various duty posts.

Special prayers were offered by the Muslim and Christian Clerics for the state governor, local government and entire staff of the council.

Other personalities in attendance include the council secretary, the councilors, Directors and members of staff of the local government council.
