Gov. Makinde Inaugurates 38.84KM Feeder Roads in Ibadan

Governor Seyi Makinde has inaugurated rehabilitated 38. 84 kilometres feeder roads in Ibadan metropolis.

Governor Makinde while inaugurating the roads at Ring-road, Ibadan, reiterated his administration’s commitment to move the people of the state from poverty to prosperity through interconnected roads.

The Governor said the remaining 56.74Km rehabilitation in Ibadan would be completed before December, while the second phase will be extended to Ogbomoso, Oke-Ogun, Ibarapa and Oyo, in the 3rd quarter of the year.

Earlier in his welcome address, Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, Professor Dahud Sangodoyin, said completion of 40.3% of the project, would reduce traffic, travel times and boost economy growth.

The renovated feeder roads include, 8.5km dualized Mile 110 through Ring-road to Challenge, 3.8km Iyaganku through NUJ Press Centre to Ring-road and 10.8Km dualized Bus stop/Agodi Gate through Beere-Oja’ba to Molete.

Others are 3.5Km Oke Adu through Aremo to Orita Aperin, 1.4Km Idi Rere through Popoyemoja to Oke Ado and 2.15Km Oke Ado through Imalefalafia, Ososami to Ring-road.
