Hon. Sanda Reconstructs Maku Police Station in Egbeda LG

The Oyo state government has reconstructed Maku Police Station Area Command in Egbeda Local government in tackling insecurity in the local government communities.

This was inaugurated by Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Sonubi Ayodele, represented by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ekanem Usen.

Egbeda LG’s Head of Information Unit, Alhaja Sherifat Carew made this known in a statement made available to newsmen.

According to the statement, the Chairman of the local government, Honourable Oyedele Sanda at the event, said the reconstruction of the police station was part of Governor Seyi Makinde’s effort to strengthen security in the region.

Honourable Sanda urged other local government Chairmen to also priotised securing lives and property in their local government areas.

Motorcycles were presented to security personnel such as Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Immigration, Police and Amotekun to enhance their productivity.

Present at the event were government functionaries across local government areas in the state.
