The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Council, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, has called for conscious effort at preserving the Ibadan cultural values and interests.
Comrade Abatan gave this advice while playing host to a group of media experts under the aegis of Ibadan Mega Voice, who paid a courtesy visit on him at the Oyo State NUP House, Agbarigo, Onireke, Ibadan.
The Oyo State NUP Scribe, called on members of the group, who are indigenes of Ibadanland in the media trade to use their various platforms to promote the rich cultural heritages and everything that can enhance the progress and development of the ancient city.
Comrade Abatan also appealed to Ibadanland sons and daughters to always support one another to build more strong legacies.
On his part, the President of the group, Mr Kola Olomide, promised that Ibadan Mega Voice would ensure they look into the issues raised and ensure that Ibadan values and pride were preserved.
Mr Olomide also sought the support of Comrade Abatan, who is also the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pensioners FM for adequate media coverage ahead of the Official inauguration of Ibadan Mega Voice.
