The Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, has assured of the quick and positive economic transformation of Ibadanland
The assurance was contained in the press release signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Chief Olugbemiga Ayoade on a courtesy visit paid on the monarch by the Fast Moving Consumer Goods Association of Oyo State FMCG at his Oke Aremo palace, Ibadan.
According to Oba Ladoja,it is good and profitable to be manufacturers than a distributors in order to maximize gains and provide employment opportunities for people.
The Monarch revealed that as part of efforts to alleviate the problems confronting manufacturing sector in Ibadanland,which includes unstable electricity, lack of water, poor roads among others,the Olubadan In – Council had set up an Economic and Investment Committee to address the challenges.
Earlier In her remark, the originator of the FMCG Oyo State branch,Alhaja Tunrayo Adeogun congratulated Oba Ladoja on his ascension to the throne of Olubadan of Ibadanland and prayed for sound health, prosperity and longevity of life for the monarch to revive the lost glory of the ancient town.
Alhaja Adeogun, assured the Olubadan that FMCG will contribute it’s quotas to the economic development and progress of Ibadanland
In a related development, the management of JAIZ Bank PLC, Ibadan Branch also paid a solidarity visit on Oba Ladoja during which the Group Head, Mr Ismail Arowolo, pledged the bank’s support for the rapid economic development of Ibadan land as well as corporate bodies and individuals
The events were graced by the Ashipa Olubadan of Ibadan,Oba Amidu Ajibade, Ashipa Balogun Olubadan,Oba Abiodun Azees, Ekerin Balogun Olubadan,Oba Akeem Adewoyin, Mogaji Jelil Adepoju of Akoto compound and Alhaji Aare Dawud Makanjuola Akinola,the Aare Musulumi of Yoruba land, Edo and Delta, among other dignitaries.
