The Public Relations Officer, Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria, FTAN, Prince Wale Olapade has called on Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde to use tourism experts in the ministry of Culture and Tourism for effective delivery.
Prince Olapade made the call while featuring on ‘Isejoba rere’ a Pensioners’ FM development agenda weekly programme of JDPC, Ibadan with the support of Meserior.
According to him, Governor Makinde can use the expertise of tourism experts in identifying all tourism centres across the state as a means to promote tourism in the state.
Prince Olapade, who is tourism Editor, Nigerian Tribune, advised Governor Makinde to organise summits to educate workers of the ministry on how tourism can boost Internally Generated Revenue, IGR of the state.
Prince Olapade, also urged the governor to equip all tourism centres with more side attractions and infrastructures that could attract tourists back for visitation.
Isejoba Rere’ which is a development agenda programme by JDPC, Ibadan with the support of Meserior, holds every Thursday on Pensioners FM from half past two to 3’ O’clock in the afternoon.
