The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, Ibadan Zonal Office, has issued a warning to broadcasters across the country to exercise caution and professionalism in their coverage of the planned nationwide protest beginning tomorrow.
This was made known in a statement by the Commission and made available to newsmen in Ibadan.
NBC in the statement reminded broadcasters of the need to adhere to the provisions of the Nigeria Broadcasting Code, particularly with regards to neutrality and coverage of issues of national interest.
It urged broadcasters to be mindful of their role in shaping public opinion and promoting national stability.
