A Public Affairs Analyst, Mr Adesumbo Badejoko, says the outcome of last Saturday’s elections in Imo, Bayelsa and Kogi States is a proof that Nigeria electoral process is yet to experience any significant improvement.
Mr Badejoko made this known, while featuring on Pensioners FM Weekly Political Programme “Trending”.
According to Mr Badejoko, perennial issues in Nigeria’s electoral process such as vote buying, violence and logistics issues were recorded during the conduct of the elections.
Mr Badejoko, who noted that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC cannot be solely blamed for the infractions that characterised the off cycle elections, however, urged the electoral body to be more alive to its responsibilities in future elections.
