A Public Affairs Analyst, Engr. Kemi Babawale has described Nigeria as a child which has grown, but yet crawling.

Engr. Babawale made this known on Pensioners’ FM Current Affairs Programme, “Searchlight”, while fielding questions on Nigeria at 63.
According to Engr. Babawale, since independence on 1st of October, 1960, the country has lacked good leaders who could transform the fortunes of all the sectors of the nation.
Engr. Babawale, recalled that during the colonial era, the economy which is the bedrock of the country was diversified compared to now due to corruption.
Speaking further on the proposed industrial action on the 3rd of next month by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, the Industrial Engineer, said strike was not the solution, stating that previous strikes by the labour unions had no major impacts.
Engr. Babawale urged the labour unions to really hold the bull by the horn if they must be heard, rather than being a toothless bulldog.
