A former Vice President of Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria, FTAN, Southwest, Prince Gani Adebiyi, says paucity of funds, poor road networks and insecurity are factors plaguing the country’s tourism sector.
Prince Adebiyi made this known while featuring on “Grey Hair”, a Pensioners’ FM programme, which profiles the past lives of the elderly,
Prince Adebiyi, who said Nigeria needs governments that are tourism oriented, called for tax concessions, startups and grants for the tourism sector.
He also called for the teachings of embracing the nation’s rich cultures to prevent eroding the country’s traditional values.
Prince Adebiyi who is also an entrepreneur, urged aspiring ones to be innovative and always have customers’ satisfaction at heart.
