A Public Affairs Analyst, Comrade Olu Omotosho, says Nigeria constitution needs to be amended as it lacks equity and fairness.

Comrade Omotosho made this known while featuring on Pensioners’ FM Current Affairs Programme, “The Searchlight”.

According to Comrade Omotosho, a country’s constitution should represent every citizen’s interest, especially for a multi ethnic nation like Nigeria.

Comrade Omotosho further noted that all citizens should have a say in the amendment of the constitution.

Fielding questions on the commencement of the cash transfer program to 15 million vulnerable households by the federal government, Comrade Omotosho said cash transfer has never achieved the desired result.

Comrade Omotosho who is also an ICT expert, stressed the need for the government to spend part of the one trillion naira for vulnerable households to rebuild the country’s refineries and empowerment of small scale businesses for sustainable development.
