NUP Dugbe Branches Hold Annual Thanksgiving

The Chairpersons of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Oyo State Council, Dugbe 1 and 2 Branches, Comrade Wasiu Adegbite and Mrs Roseline Coker have called on members not to relent until their various demands are met by the government.

Comrade Adegbite and Mrs Coker made the call at the second edition of the branch’s annual thanksgiving held in Ibadan, Oyo state.

The Chairpersons, who appreciated members for their cooperation and determination in ensuring that the government prioritised their welfare, therefore, asked for more cooperation.

Comrade Adegbite and Mrs Coker promised members continuous advocacy for quality life even in the face of provocation by the government.

Chairman Oyo NUP, Chief Isiaka Abolade, who was present at the event, called on the members to be patient as measures were put in place to get their entitlements from the government.

Chief Abolade equally appreciated members of the branches for working in solidarity with the executives of the union.

Dignitary present at the event include Executive Secretary Oyo NUP, Comrade Olusegun Abatan represented by the Assistant Secretary, Comrade Banji Koleoso.
