Idi Ape 3 branch of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP, Oyo State Council, has held its annual get together.
Chairman of the Branch, Comrade Rasheed Balogun, noted that the event was organised to appreciate God for sparing their lives and the state government for addressing their demands.
Comrade Balogun equally lauded the executives of Oyo NUP for prioritising welfare of its members.
Addressing the gathering, the Executive Secretary of NUP, Oyo State Council, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, called on members to be patient as measures were in place to receive their other entitlements from the government.
Comrade Abatan equally appreciated members of the branches for working in solidarity with the executives of the Union, saying their supports has be a source of motivation for the leadership of the council.
Dignitaries at the event included Chairman, Oyo State NUP, Comrade Isiaka Abolade, State Vice Chairman, Pastor Joseph Osuntade and the State Assistant Secretary, Comrade Banji Kolesho.
