NYCN Supports Urgent Implementation of Expatriate Employment Levy

The Forum of State Chairmen, National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN has called for the urgent implementation of Expatriate Employment Levy, EEL.

This was made known by the Forum of State Chairmen, NYCN under the leadership of Comrade Abdul-Salam Olusegun.

Comrade Olusegun, urged President Bola Tinubu to continue with the introduction of Expatriate Employment Levy, EEL by former President Muhammadu Buhari in enhancing job prospects for young Nigerians.

He said this will boost the government’s effort to keep skilled workers in Nigeria, foster local technology, and ensure fair job opportunities for both Nigerians and foreigners.

Comrade Olusegun also noted that implementing the Levy in Nigeria, would ensure fair job access across the nation, particularly for Nigerian youth.

He therefore pledged the forum’s solidarity to the ongoing efforts by President Tinubu’s government to enhance Nigeria’s economy and society. 

Comrade Olusegun also commend the dedication of the governors of all 36 states for supporting President Tinubu’s initiatives aimed at uplifting the living standards of Nigerians, particularly the youth.
