A retired Director of News and Current Affairs Department, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, The Reverend Olusegun Ayankoso, says journalists must operate within the ambit of the codes and ethics of the profession.
The Reverend Ayankoso made this known while featuring on Pensioners’ FM programme, ‘The Grey Hair’, which profiles the past lives of the elderly.
According to The Reverend Ayankoso, besides working in line with the rules that guide the journalism profession, journalists must also be hardworking, mentally sound, creative and physically fit.
The Veteran who is also the former General Manager of FRCN Positive FM, Akure, further urged journalists to prioritise self-development to meet up with dynamics and changes happening
