Some traditional rulers in Osun State have praised the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Lawal, for his exceptional leadership and developmental contributions to Ede Kingdom and its surrounding areas.
The traditional rulers, Alaassan of Ilaasan, Oba Mulkaila Tijani; the Olorigo of Origo, Oba Morufu Adeagbo; and the Onipara of Ipara Land, Oba David Adewale, all in Egbedore local government of Osun state, gave the commendation in an interview with Pensioners FM, on the sidelines of the 70th birthday anniversary celebration of Oba Lawal.
Oba Tijani, Oba Adeagbo and Oba Adewale acknowledged Oba Lawal’s vast experience in leadership and public administration, which they said has led to significant development in the region.
The monarchs expressed deep admiration for Oba lawal’s balanced approach to tradition and modernity, highlighting how his efforts have bridged the gap between preserving cultural heritage and advancing the community’s welfare.
The royal fathers also appreciated Oba Lawal for being a role model, especially in mentoring them in culture and tradition.
The Alaassan, the Olorigo and the Onipara offered prayers for Oba Lawal wishing him a peaceful and prosperous reign on the throne of his ancestors.
