OYHA Calls for Amotekun Corps Integration into Civil Service

The Oyo State House of Assembly has called on Governor Seyi Makinde, to integrate the Western Nigeria Security Network codenamed Amotekun

Corps into the state civil service.

The Assembly made the call while reacting to motion moved by member

representing Ibadan North-East Constituency, Honourable Abiodun

Babalola, at the plenary presided over by deputy speaker, Honourable

Mohammed Fadeyi.

In his motion, Honourable Babalola, also urged executive arm of

government to erect befitting offices across the state for the security outfit.

Also at the plenary, the Assembly charged Ministry of Education to review its technical and vocational education curriculum, in order to address high rate of unemployment in Oyo state.

The assembly therefore mandated its House Committee on Basic Education

to engage relevant stakeholders on review of technical and vocational

education as to suit the pressing unemployment rate in Oyo State and

Nigeria as a whole.
