Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin has appealed to colleagues to be mindful of words and actions that can fuel division.
Honourable Ogundoyin who made the appeal at plenary, dismissed the rumours of plans to suspend some lawmakers.
The Speaker noted that suspending any member would only create a vacuum that would make electorates and constituents suffer.
He therefore harped on the need for every member of the 10th assembly to prioritise the needs of constituents above any other personal interests.
Recall that The Oyo State Assembly was reportedly on the brink of suspending 11 lawmakers accused of working against the House leadership and Governor Seyi Makinde’s directives.
