Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Salihu Adelabu, undertook an inspection tour across various schools to oversee the ongoing rescheduled Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE within the State.
Prof. Adelabu explained that the monitoring underscored the commitment of the state government to ensure quality education and uphold standards in the examination process.
While addressing the students, the Commissioner urged them to remain focused on their studies and emphasized that the BECE exams would reflect their level of preparedness for Senior Secondary Schools.
He cautioned against engaging in any form of examination malpractice, reminding students that integrity is paramount in achieving academic success.
The Commissioner reiterated the state government’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment for students in ensuring that the education sector continues to thrive in Oyo State.
