The wife of Oyo state governor, Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, has charged parents to use the Christmas season to show love to people and the less privileged in the society.
Mrs. Makinde, said this at Agodi gardens, Ibadan during the Christmas party, organised by her office for children across the state.
The Wife of the Governor, who said that Christmas remains a season of love, joy and gratitude, enjoined children to imbibe the lessons of the season.
Earlier in her address, the state Commissioner for women affairs and social inclusion, Mrs Toyin Balogun, enjoined parents to always protect the well being of their children.
Children were engaged in various games and smiled home with gifts.
