A Day Pre – Induction training has been organized by the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Special Marshals RS 11.3, Oyo state Sector Command in Ibadan to prepare about 200 successful applicants into Special Marshals in the state ready for the task ahead.

Addressing the prospective Special Marshals at the event in Ibadan, Oyo state Sector Commander, FRSC, Corps Commander Joshua Adekanye, represented by Deputy Corps Commander Tunde Adewale said FRSC and its affiliates like Special Marshal and Road Safety Club is saddled with the responsibility of creating safe motoring environment and reduce Road Crashes to the barest minimum by enforcing compliance to the National Road Traffic Regulations.
He therefore advised the potential Special Marshals against abuse and misuse of the privilege given to them.
Earlier in a welcome Address, the Oyo state Special Marshals, RS 11.3 Coordinator, Pastor John Adegbotoluwa explained that the reason behind the training is to equip the new entrants with necessary information in order to make them perform the task ahead effectively.
Pastor Adegbotoluwa them hinted the Special Marshal to be about some dos and don`ts in line with rules and regulations the established the Special Marshal.
The new Special Marshals were later taken through various Road Safety Tips, Causality Handling and First Aid Application

Three of the trained Special Marshals, Mr Samuel Enisemo, Mrs Atinuke Adebayo and Mr Abiodun idowu on behalf of their colleagues explained to Pensioners` FM that they decided to join the voluntary organization as a way of contributing to humanity by ensuring safer roads in Oyo state and across the country.
I am happy to be a member of the 2023 Special Marshall. This will enable me to contribute my quota to the safety of road users.
