Oyo Govt. Begins ‘I AM ALIVE’ Verification for Pensioners

The Local Government Staff Pension Board, Oyo State, says ‘I AM ALIVE’ physical verification process for retired Primary School Teachers and Local Government Staff outside Ibadan, begins tomorrow, 21st to 24th of this month, at 9 am daily.

Permanent Secretary, of the Local Government Staff Pension Board, Alhaji Lukman Muraina, who made this known in a statement, said this was part of Governor Seyi Makinde’s Omituntun 2.0 agenda.

Alhaji Muraina urged retirees under the board to come with their voter’s cards, International passports, NIN, or driver’s licenses as means of Identification.

Others are original copies of computation sheets, Re-computation sheets, and pension certificates, as well as two passports with no eyeglasses or wig.

According to Alhaji Muraina, Teachers and local government retirees in Iseyin, Itesiwaju, Kajola, and Iwajowa will be verified from the 21st to the 24th of this month, at the local government secretariat of each local government.

Similarly, Teachers and local government retirees in Saki West, Saki East, Oorelope, Atisbo, Olorunsogo, and Irepo will be verified from the 21st to the 24th of this month, at the local government secretariat of each local government.

Also, Teachers and local government retirees in Afijio, Oyo East, Oyo West, and Atiba will be verified 21st to 24th, at the local government secretariat of each local government.

While Teachers and local government retirees in Ogbomosho South, Ogbomosho North, Ogo-oluwa, Oriire, and Surulere will also be verified on the 21st to 24th, at the local government secretariat of each local government.

Others which inlcude Teachers and local government retirees in Ibarapa North, Ibarapa East, and Ibarapa Central will be verified from the 21st to the 24th, at the local government secretariat of each local government.

Alhaji Muraina, enjoined all State and Local executives of the union in all local governments to ensure proper arrangement and coordination.

He added that further clarification can be obtained from the Director of Administration and General Services on 08033500113.
