Nigeria Union of Pensioners’, NUP, Oyo State Council, has achieved yet another feat, with the establishment of the first Pensioners’ Hospital, named Sure Health Care Hospital Limited.
This was made known in an interview with Pensioners FM by the Secretary Oyo NUP, Comrade Olusegun Abatan.
According to Comrade Abatan, the hospital will be inaugurated on the 4th of next month, at 10 O’clock in the morning, by Governor Seyi Makinde, while the Royal father of the day is the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin.
The guest lecturer of the day is the Chief Medical Director of University Teaching Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, Professor Jesse Otegbayo.
Other dignitaries to grace the occasion include delegates from the NUP National Headquarters to be led by the National President of NUP, Comrade Godwin Abumisi.
Among the programmes lined up for the day include free medical test for pensioners.
The NUP scribe added that the giant stride was made possible with the help and contributions of all pensioners in Oyo State, calling on them to come out en masse for the landmark event.
Thank God in the life of our leaders who have good and vital plans for we pensioners. With their care and concern for us death rate has reduced drastically.
