Special Marshals in Oyo State will soon begin to inspect vehicles for C-Caution Signs.
The State Coordinator, Special Marshals, RS 11.3, Oyo State Sector Command of Federal Road Safety Corps, Pastor John Adegbotoluwa, who made this known, said drivers whose vehicles are without C- Caution Signs would be fined three thousand naira
Pastor Adegbotoluwa said this while featuring on “Awaye”, a Pensioners’ FM Road Safety weekly program, sponsored by Oyo State FRSC, Special Marshals, RS 11.3.
According to Pastor Adegbotoluwa, C- Caution Sign is part of safety requirements to notify other road users that there is a faulty vehicle on the road.
Pastor Adegbotoluwa also expressed displeasure over the rate at which motorists use sticks and leaves to replace C-Caution Signs.
Pastor Adegbotoluwa said C-Caution Sign be should place 45 meters before and after faulty vehicles on highways, while on expressways, it should be 90 meters.
