OYSADA Presents Cheques to Cassava Farmers

No fewer than 16 cassava farmers have received cheques worth over one million naira from the Oyo State Youth Entrepreneurship in Agribusiness Project (YEAP).

Presenting the cheques in Ibadan, the Director General of Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA), Dr. Debo Akande stressed the need for youths to be more active in agribusiness.

Dr. Akande who was represented by a former Permanent Secretary of the agency, Mr Kola Kazeem, maintained that the project was one of the vision of the present administration, in encouraging youths in agribusiness.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke in an interview with Newsmen, lauded Governor Seyi Makinde and OYSADA for their efforts and support in encouraging youths in agriculture.

The event was graced by Chief Accountant of OYSADA, Mrs Ogunniyi Ruth and Director of Agribusiness Technical Service of the Agency, Mr Joseph Ilori.
