An Ibadan based politician, Honourable Hauwa Balogun has blamed President Bola Tinubu led-administration for the current socio-economic challenges that has led to a proposed nationwide protest slated for 1st of month.
The former counsellor who represented Ward 11, Ibadan North-West Local Government Area of Oyo State, noted that President Tinubu and his cabinet members ought to have addressed all the issues raised by Nigerians, concerning inflationary trends, insecurity, fuel and electricity subsidy removal.
Honourable Balogun who featured on Pensioners’ FM weekly stewardship programme in Yoruba ‘‘Aboree’’, said it is not too late for the President and state governors to come up with mass-friendly policies that would ameliorate the suffering of the people. The People’s Democratic Party stalwart in Oyo State, however, enjoined protesters to carry out their activities peacefully, by following the constitutionally laid down principles of rights agitation for national achievement.
