Pensioners’ 106.7 FM Marks 4th Anniversary

It was a moment of appreciation at the anniversary luncheon of Pensioners FM, held today at the main hall of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Onireke, Ibadan.

The ceremony which was organised by the board of the station for members of staff was to climax the activities lined up for the anniversary.

Some members of staff including Head of Editorial Unit, Miss Yetunde Oke, Head of Sports Desk, Mr Eedris Abiola, Head of Engineering Department, Mr Ayobami Adebayo and Anchor of Security Lens programme, Mrs Funmilayo Yakubu in different remarks commended members of the board for their commitment to the growth of the station and members of staff.

The members of staff, who spoke on behalf of other employees, said they would continue to display professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

Earlier, the board Chairman of Pensioners FM, Ibadan, Chief Adebisi Adesola, had maintained that the board would continue to prioritise welfare of its workers.

Chief Adesola enjoined members of staff to remain focused and let humility be their guide.

In a remark, the MD/CEO of Pensioners fm, Comrade Olusegun Abatan, called on the staff to continue to come up with more people oriented programmes.

Comrade Abatan, also commended members of the public for their continued patronage of the station.

Highlight of the event was the presentation of a brand new car to the marketing department.

Receiving the car key, the Head of Marking Department, Mrs Afolake Odeyemi appreciated the Board for the kind gesture, promising that she and her team will intensify their efforts in boosting the station’s revenue.
