Members of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, have been encouraged on the importance of hard work and dedication in their respective place of primary assignments.
The advice came as Batch B, Stream 2 set of corps members rounded-off their service year in Oyo State.
The General Manager of Pensioners’ FM, Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu, gave the advice in his office, while sending off a corps member, Miss Arafat Ayofe who served at the station’s News and Current Affairs Department.
Dr Tiamiyu, who described Miss Ayofe as a hardworking and dedicated corps member, urged her to put the skills and knowledge acquired at Pensioners’ FM into use in the employment sector.
On her part, Miss Ayofe described Pensioners’ FM as a learning place for all.
Miss Ayofe thanked the board, management and staff members for the platform given to her to learn and to broaden her horizon on journalism.
Present at the sendoff was Head of Editorial Unit, Yetunde Oke.
