President Tinubu will attend Ladoja’s coronation – Olubadan Coronation Committee

The coronation committee for the 44 Olubadan of Ibadanland, has extended invitation to sons and daughters of the ancient city and guests from across Nigeria and beyond to the coronation ceremony of Oba Rashidi Ladoja.

‎‎The Chairman of the committee, Chief Bayo Oyero, extended the invitation to all and sundry at the press conference to kickstart the commencement of the activities that will lead to the coronation ceremony, held at the Olubadan palace.

‎Chief Oyero, who noted that President Bola Tinubu, is among dignitaries expecting on the coronation day, assured that security and logistics have been put in place to ensure a hitch-free and memorable event.

‎Earlier in his welcome address, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Ademola Ojo revealed that the weeks long activities will on Monday commence with inter-religious prayers session at the Olubadan palace.

‎He added that the coronation ceremony with series of events, designed to be inclusive and reflective of Ibadan rich cultural heritage, faiths and background, would end on Saturday, 4th October, with Thanksgiving Service at Ose-Meji temple, Oja’ba Ibadan.

‎Present at the press briefing, include Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince Dotun Oyelade, member of Olubadan-in-council and Ashipa Designate, Oba Hamidu Ajibade, President of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole and Mogajis

‎‎Oyo State Government had earlier announced 26th of this month as the Coronation day of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
