Two Public Affairs Analysts, Barrister Kunle Abimbola and Mr Kayode Atolani have called for a policy that will strengthen whistleblower’s protection.
Barrister Abimbola and Mr Atolani said this while reacting to the call for the passage of the Whistle Blowing Bill by the National Assembly, on Pensioners FM’s Weekend Current Affairs Programme “Voice of Liberation”.
According to Barrister Abimbola and Mr Atolani, protecting whistleblowers would embolden them to give information needed to combat corruption in the country.
Barrister Abimbola and Mr Atolani also emphasised the importance of synergy among various anti-corruption agencies, to build public confidence in reporting corruption.
