The need for government at all level to explore the renewable energy sector to create stable power supply for enhanced economic stability has again been re-emphasised.
A green and renewable energy expert, Dr Olaoluwa Adegoke, reiterated this at a ceremony celebrating his Award of honorary doctorate degree, PHD in Entrepreneurship (Honoris Causa) by Cornerstone University, Old Ife Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to the Solar Energy Expert and Managing Director, OIC Solar limited, Nigeria needs to invest more in renewable energy to address the nation’s power challenge towards resolving the nation’s energy crisis.
Dr Adegoke, who could not hide his joy for being counted worthy of the prestigious award, noted that without stable power supply, no nation can grow its economy.
Dr Adegoke however appreciated management of Cornerstone University, his numerous customers, especially Pensioners FM for believing in him.
Among dignitaries at the event include, the Chancellor, Cornerstone University, Ibadan, Bishop Francis Wale-Oke and Pensioners FM Head of Marketing, Mrs Folake Odeyemi.
