Nigerian leaders need to embrace the teachings of Ramadan by addressing the current socio – economic challenge militating against people’s welfare.
The Chief Imam Ibadan Airport Muslim Community, Alakia, Sheik Hadi Bello, gave the admonition in his Eid Il Fitri sermon at the community’s Prayer Ground to mark the end of Hijra 1446AH Ramadan activities.
Sheik Bello emphasised that leadership should be about making life easy and abundant for the citizens.
On his part, the Chairman, Ibadan Airport Muslim Community, Alhaji Wale Azeez, who congratulated the entire muslim ummah, advised that the lessons of perseverance, self-discipline and giving in Charity demonstrated during Ramadan should not be a one month off activities.
High points of the worship include the two Rakat Nofila and prayer for the community, Oyo State and Nigeria.
Prominent among the congrats at the Eid prayer is Pensioners’FM General Manager, Dr. Babatunde Tiamiyu.
